What Data Does Aampe Need?

Aampe needs two types of data to work effectively.
  • User Events are the actions people take in your app or website. These include purchases, page views, clicks, cart additions, and any other interactions that matter to your business.
  • User Properties are basic information about your users. This includes things like country, language, or subscription status.

How It Works

Your development team will connect Aampe to your existing data systems. This might be your analytics platform, data warehouse, or event tracking system. Aampe supports periodic batch updates as well as real-time event streaming. The connection is secure and fully respects your privacy requirements. Aampe only accesses the specific data you choose to share, does not ingest any personally identifiable information (PII), and stores your data in your preferred geographic region.

What Happens Next

Once Aampe has a data source, you’re all set to
  • create audiences,
  • specify funnel events
  • configure event rewards
And once you connect a messaging provider or integrate a Surface API, you’re all set to deliver personalized experiences at scale.

Getting Ready

Before starting this step, gather information about your current data setup. Know which systems track user behavior and where user information is stored. Aampe will work with your development team to ensure the integration is successful. See here for a list of data sources supported by Aampe and detailed integration guides.
